David was delighted to meet singer-songwriter, activist, and bluesgrass pioneer Hazel Dickens at the North American Folk Alliance in Memphis, TN, February 2008. She is one of his heroes.

David recording Woody Guthrie's Peace Call with one of his favourite singers, Roy Bailey, to be released in January on David's debut album.
