Out of the Bedroom, Edinburgh's finest open mic session (only originals allowed), just celebrated its 200th night. It was great to see all the regulars there. Edinburgh has a vibrant singer-songwriter community www.outofthebedroom.co.uk and most performers have passed through there at some point on their musical journey. If you're interested check it out on a Thursday (9pm) at The Waverly, St Mary's Street (as of April the venue will be Canon's Gait pub on the Canongate).
