A great night of music & poetry against the war

Thanks to everyone for coming along and for supporting last night's anti-war poetry and music event. The poets were fabulous and a special personal thanks to Rachel Darwick, Joe Hartney and Colin Donati for singing their hearts out! The closing ska/reggae band, Mr Tubaobu really rocked the crowd.  I'll ( under Songs For Change - www.songsforchange.com ) be organising similar events in conjunction with Word Power bookstore ( www.word-power.co.uk ) in the near future. These community happenings are what I most enjoy organising - bringing people together with a common purpose. A big thanks to Edinburgh's Forest cafe for hosting the event. This is the friendliest space in town where anything goes - the volunteers are so dedicated to creating an open and welcoming environment. Viva the Forest!
