Great news. My song One Hell of a Ride has been selected out of hundreds as one of this year's Burnsong winners. Burnsong is a project to promote and encourage new songwriting in Scotland and has been running for three years. I have attended many of the events which have always been interesting and a great way to meet other songwriters. I am very pleased to have been selected as one of the winners of the project's second round of competitions. The prize is to spend a week in a house in south-west Scotland at the end of November with the other winners, writing new material and collaborating with the others.
