English Mini-Tour

Back from a mini-tour of England.  I had a couple gigs and workshops at the first ever Shepley Spring Festival outside Sheffield.  The festival was a real success and I'm sure it will continue to grow and become a significant event in the folk festival diary.  I  then drove down with Roy Bailey to Forest Folk , a wonderful club outside Southampton, run by Charles and Janet.  Charles had heard me at last year's Gosport & Fareham Festival and thought Roy and I would make a good double bill.  We split the night and sang a few numbers together, including Peace Call, Rolling Home, Follow the Drinking Gourd and my own Visions Of Our Youth, which Roy now covers.  It's been a real honour to sing with one of my favourite folk artists, who has been a great influence on my music.  A lot of familiar faces were in the audience and it was a pleasure to catch up with folk whom I'd met at previous festivals down south.  Thanks to everyone for coming!
Now I'm back in Edinburgh.  We finished recording the album last week and are back in the studio later this week to mix the songs.  They're sounding great.  We're also making progress on the music video front, so this project will hopefully be ready soon for public enjoyment!!!
Still organizing folk to come to the Performers Blockade of Faslane on 5th June.  Let me know if you'd like to join us
