Just back from Glasgow where I met Joan Baez. She was on top form tonight playing many of her signature tunes as well as a collection of the early ballads which first attuned me to folk music. We had a little hug after the show and my mum took some pics (I'll soon post them in the gallery) 
. Joan's been a huge influence, teaching me that music doesn't have to be mere entertainment - it can help change the world! It's not everyday you get to meet your idol, so I'm a happy chappy.
