i got an e-mail from a dejected jed from amsterdam this evening about the absence of love songs on my download page - after all today is the day of love....alas i don't have any ready for you to download today, but i have been writing a few on the theme of love which will hopefully get recorded sometime in the near future....at least one of them could be considered an up-beat love song too...the trio's working on it at the moment - it's called you rock the beat of my heart and is a kind of lucinda williams type number - strong hook, lots of repetition, and simple lyrics, but hopefully not simplistic!
