oh no i've become a blogger

i've had so many hits from folk i don't know and from countries i've never visited i thought i'd keep a blog here to entice visitors back to my site from time to time.  i'll post relevant stuff about music from time to time, and perhaps irrelevant stuff about other matters once in a while, but i'll try not to ramble too much.....
for anyone based in edinburgh or nearby the amazing International Festival of Middle Eastern Spirituality and Peace started last week and runs until 12th march.  it's in its third year and the programme is amazing, especially for music.  there are some fabulous concerts, musical workshops and talks....check out the website for more info http://www.mesp.org.uk .  on wednesday 22nd you should definitely check out a concert in st giles' cathedral (7-8pm) called Sounds of the Eternal which features suzanne adam and sandy butler from my trio.  they played me the cd of this concert last week - it's a beautiful, meditative blend of celtic and eastern sounds.  suzanne's lead vocals are ethereal.
