I just found out that I will be supporting Richie Havens at Celtic Connections on 18th January 2007 (see Gigs). Richie emerged from the Greenwich Village music scene in the 1960s along with Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Fred Neil and opened Woodstock in 1969. It's a real honour to be sharing the stage with this folk legend. He's a man of great integrity with real vision. I can't wait!!!
