David Ferrard

David will be supporting his mentor and folk hero Roy Bailey at the Edinburgh Folk Club as part of The 6th Carrying Stream Festival in honour of Hamish Henderson. Roy is described by Tony Benn as "...the greatest socialist folksinger of his generation".  Billy Bragg writes '"...as powerful as anything I'd heard by THE CLASH - it was Roy's voice, the strength of it and the compassion in it".  This is a gig not to be missed. £7/6. www.edinburghfolkclub.org.uk
