David Ferrard

David will be hosting an evening of political song as part of the 6th annual Carrying Stream Festival in memory of Scotland's leading folklorist Hamish Henderson.  This night will feature a number of grassroots singers as well as our headline guest Jez Lowe.  This will also be the Scottish launch of the Not In Our Name CD, a compilation of folk songs about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, featuring artists such as Dick Gaughan, Roy Bailey, Eliza Gilkyson and Jez Lowe.  8pm.  £8/6.  www.songsforchange.com.  To reserve a ticket call 0131 556 9579.
